The Hyderabad Deccan Foundation of Canada (HDFC) was founded in 2009 by Canadian immigrants of Hyderabadi origin with the aim of providing a socio-cultural and community building platform for Hyderabadis settled in North America. HDFC is in its infancy and yet has already taken giant strides. We are already well into laying the ground work for building a vibrant organization that will tap into the enormous talent available within the community and to use its collective strength and wisdom to benefit the Hyderabadi community specifically and the Canadian community in general.

Besides our objective of operating as an effective channel of Hyderabadi Socio-Cultural society, we have also embarked on the mission of identifying and addressing issues relevant to our community including matrimony, gainful employment and acting as a resource to the new immigrants, We have also for the past two years identified, recognized and encouraged individuals of the community who have excelled in various fields and have made the community proud and who act like beacons for the aspiring younger generations.
